Buckeye Challenge Race Rules

 

1.    All participants must be at least 18 years of age to enter this race.
2.    Dustin Baker will be the chairman and the loft manager for this race.
3.     The loft manager will make the decision on any possible disputes. The decision on any dispute will be final.
4.   The loft manager takes no responsibility for lost birds.
5. The loft manager reserves the right to deny any participant in this race.
6. Your Payment & Entry Fee must be sent in with your birds. 
7.  You may use your own bands.
8.    If you are sending in a four bird team you must send your team in all at once and you must designate in writing which bird out of your four bird team will be your backup.
9.  You must send along with your birds your complete contact information such as your: Name, Address, Phone Number, & Email Address.
10.  All updates, Changes, Inventories, Training results, Anything concerning the race will be posted on our website www.bakerandsonsloft.com

   In the event of a smash race on either race the race will be held open for 3 days. All remaining prizes will be carried over to the following years   race and will be added to the new loyalty prize method and will be paid out on the 150 mile race that following year.

 

12.  All prizes for the race are clocking order only. (Equal 1st split, on the drop does not apply)
13. All prizes are based on 200 PAID entries.  In the event that 200 paid entries are not received, prizes will be reduced accordingly.
14.  In the event of bad weather, either race may be flown on another date.
15. The 250 mile race will remain a 250 mile race regardless of the date it is flown.
16. Both races will be flown during the week due to the chance of the birds getting in with other clubs/combine races that are flown on the weekends.
17. There will be no Baker & Sons Loft banded birds permitted in this race as Dustin Baker is affiliated with Baker & Sons Loft.
18. There will be no buybacks on your birds.  All birds will remain the property of the breeders. However, Breeders must pay a $50.00 shipping fee per bird to have their birds returned to them.   The shipping fee must be received within 14 days of the close of the 250 mile race or birds will become property of The Buckeye Challenge One Loft Race.  All birds that are remaining after the 250 will be shipped no matter whether you live locally or not.
19. Please DO NOT vaccinate or pox your birds before you send them.
20.  Pooling will be available the night of shipping. The Buckeye Challenge One Loft Race will retain 15% of all pools.
