North Dayton Pigeon Club 2010 Futurity Race

 

 

Our race will be a 275 mile race that will be flown on the Southwest Course from Millersville, Tennessee. The race will be flown on 9/24/2010 weather permitting. Breeders may place their birds in the loft of their choice if prior arrangements are made with the handlers first. If you do not have a handler and you want to send birds in for the race we can put your birds on a rotation. All handlers will be participating in the rotation. Breeders may use their own bands. Prizes are based on 200 entries. If the 200 entries are not received the payout will be reduced accordingly.

 

 

 

Entry Fee - $25.00 per bird or 5 birds for $100.00

1st Place - $2000.00
2nd Place - $1000.00
3rd Place - $500.00

4th thru 10th place will be paid out accordingly depending on the number of entries and the amount of prizes that are left after paying out the first three positions. The payout amounts will be decided by the Futurity Committee. Accepting birds January 1st 2010. North Dayton Pigeon Club retains 10% off of the top. In the event of a smash race, The race will be kept open for 7 days to try to payout all of the positions. If there is not enough birds clocked by the official close of the race the remaining prize money will be carried over until the following year.

There will be a $25.00 buyback option that must be paid before the night of shipping if you wish to buy your bird back. The first five birds will be auctioned off on The Pigeon Shop.com online pigeon auction website. www.thepigeonshop.com The North Dayton Pigeon Club will retain 100% of the money made from the auction. Pooling will be available the night of shipping. Your payment must be sent in with your birds. Ship your birds and payment directly to your handler. If you don't have a handler mail your birds to Dustin Baker and we will place them on a rotation.
